OF - "Official / Definitive Phonecards"
Such public cards are the well-known ones sold in official retail shops. In Switzerland, some public-cards were charged for charity purpose for more money than the stored-value. Official public-cards are usually designed with PTT logo and stored phone-value must be clearly identified in hard-currency or units. Some few official public-cards also exist without any Telco identification but with “Phonocard”, “Landis & Gyr” and “Sodeco” inscriptions (but never the mention “Service” or “Test” reserved for Engineer-cards). It occurs mainly with little or brand new customers who needed to be supplied very shortly with optical-cards. In such hurry cases, specific design for the Telco/customer could not be agreed in due time and L&G had to supply the new Telco/customer with cards bearing a standard "Phonocard" design. Such standard cards which don't bear any Telcos' logo were dispatched in very few quantities.
