FI - "Field-Trial Phonecards"Field-Trials were intended to introduce phonecards with stored-value for the very first time to the public, as an inovation. For this purpose, optical devices (both cards and readers) were tested for short time in confined places (around post office, in train station, in military areas, in student campus, in touristic areas....) and the results of such surveys were consolidated and used to improve and validate a larger introduction of the optical-phonecards' system. Field-Trials are first-issued Public Optical-Cards and precede the introduction of the Official Optical-Cards.
